John Clarke (In thread: Custom components in the IDE)
Hi, if I were to write my own JQuery components can I add them to the App Builder palette and use them in my code?

Also, is there a way to extract the names of the attributes, methods and events in a JQuery component that has little to no comments in it?

I would appreciate all advice offered regarding this.

This is my sample JQuery component

I want to have a data table on my app that has :

  1. Columns that I can resize
  2. Columns that I can reorder by dragging them

How can I achieve this?

John Clarke (In thread: Bootstrap CSS tabs)

If I implement tabs using bootstrap 4 (https://www.w3schools.com/bootstrap/bootstrap_tabs_pills.asp) how can I get my code to load the content in the contents section from a URL?

John Clarke (In thread: Detecting pitch in voice)
I am interested in making it a web app and a cordova app.

John Clarke (In thread: Detecting pitch in voice)
I am looking for a way to detect the pitch in a persons voice. For example when they raise their voice (at the end of a question) or lower it (at the end of a sentence). Do you know of any libraries or code that can help with this?

John Clarke (In thread: Webextension and custom dialog box on background script)
Apologies, after I updated my code and compiled it I didn't clean the cache. I have just tried it again and it worked.

John Clarke (In thread: Webextension and custom dialog box on background script)
Thanks for your help regarding this matter. I decided to go for the options where the dialog is opened on another tab. The only issue that I have is that this other tab doesn't seem to have access to the same localstorage as the plugin. How can I resolve that ?

John Clarke (In thread: Webextension and custom dialog box on background script)
I was just wondering about the following ideas:

1. Is it possible to send a message from the background script to the WebExtension instead of to the content ? If so how?
2. If number 1 is possible is it possible to get the extension to display its user interface? The only difference being that it will show a different form.

John Clarke (In thread: Webextension and custom dialog box on background script)
I can send the message from the background script to the content script. It would be really useful to have an example of a popup that appears when the content script receives the message from the background script.
