DecSoft (In thread: [FIXED] Do have problems with Android 6 ?)

Hello Samuel,

Finally I get the Location sample application working here in Android 5.1.1. The problem is I turn off the Location in Android. Once they are turned on the application worked. However, I expect some kind of error if we can't access the location, for example, if they are turned off in the phone. I continue investigating this.

P.S. Can you assert your Android 6 phone have the Location turned on Samuel?

DecSoft (In thread: [FIXED] Do have problems with Android 6 ?)

Hello Samuel,

I am trying the Location sample in my Android 5.1.1 and something is wrong... the don't work like expected and no error messages appear or something like that. The permissions are asked when install the application, but the application does not work as we expect. They works in browsers, but not in Android.

So maybe the problem is not related with Android 6... I am investigating right now what can happend here...

Hello Samuel,

You are right David : I do try the app with the phone and building with Apache Cordova.
The location plugin is checked in the App's plugins option (and it still works with Lollipop)

Please, don't worry: I am happy to help you and interested in this issue too. I want to investigate a little more out there...

Hello again,

Another thing to take into consideration is the API version available in the Android SDK. Be sure you have installed the right API version for Android 6.0 (API 23):

Hello Samuel,

Wait a minute... I think the behaviour you describe occur when the application is running from a browser, but not in Apache Cordova... are you sure the Apache Cordova's "Location" plugin is checked in the app options dialog? I asume you trying the application in your phone once they are build with Apache Cordova... right?

DecSoft (In thread: [FIXED] Do have problems with Android 6 ?)

Hello Samuel,

I can't test it right now (unfortunatelly my phone didn't receive the Android 6 upgrade yet, but they are expected in the near future) but apparently Apache Cordova 6 support Android 6. Then what you can try is to upgrade Apache Cordova and build the applications with this latest Apache Cordova version.

Remember to upgrade Apache Cordova we can use the below command from a console:

If you continue having problems just post here sir. If finally you solve the problem, please, post here too.

DecSoft (In thread: Problem with testing app)

Hello,

Hi
Excuse me! Can I khnow what was the problem?
Because I had a problem like this and I forced to restore my pc to an earlier backup, then reinstalled AppBuilder!

Please, can you describe your problem and provide some additional information like an screen capture or something? Without that information it's very difficult to help. Almost impossible.

DecSoft (In thread: Material Design in App Builder?)

Hello tin,

I am take a look at the project, and, certainly they looks good. However it's not only a theme for bootstrap, which can be used in App Builder just by copy the appropiate CSS stylesheet. In fact the theme requires jQuery other Javascript code, but even this can be used in App Builder "as is".

The problem I found is that the theme go ahead and requires certain controls markup, add new components, etc. App Builder uses a framework and offers certain componentes. Other can be added, of course, but we are talking about some kind of "theme-framework" not easy to adapt in App Builder.

About the "Ripple effect", apparently they consists in some CSS and Javascript code (plus jQuery) so may you can try with that tin. But again, CSS and Javascript must be "adaptable" to the existing stuff in App Builder. For example, I don't know if the "ripple effect" just work in controls like push buttons, which already incorporates their own style.

DecSoft (In thread: Material Design in App Builder?)

Hello tin,

Are you tried the "Paper" theme already included in App Builder? (Take a look at the Theme app sample) They look similar to Material and we no need any other dependency, like the Javascript required by the theme you linked. Anyway, if you wanted, probably you can use the theme just by including their CSS and Javascript file. At least you can try it...

DecSoft (In thread: Default or native sound when "click" events!!!)

You're welcome! ;)

DecSoft (In thread: Default or native sound when "click" events!!!)

Hello Eduardo,

Always thanks you. And thanks also to the Cordova plugin's author. You can update your App Builder copy if you like, since this Apache Cordova's plugin is now implemented by an App Builder's plugin.

From the App Builder history file:

* Add the new Feedback App Builder's Javascript plugin. This plugin uses certain Apache Cordova's plugin to provide native feedback to the user in Android. The plugin provide to us six actions. Take a look also to the new Feedback application sample in order to view such actions working.

Hope this can be useful for you Eduardo.

DecSoft (In thread: Using local fonts in your APP - CSS3 @font-face)

You're welcome! ;)

DecSoft (In thread: Using local fonts in your APP - CSS3 @font-face)

Hello Eduardo,

Please, try with something like this:

Note how the app folders are organized:

Then, if we want to refer a file from an stylesheet, we need to "salt up" a folder like in the above CSS code.

Try it and tell me if they works or what!

DecSoft (In thread: how to output data,or print report?)

Hello,

Lightweight version of the Shield UI JavaScript/HTML5 library

https://github.com/shieldui/shieldui-lite

The ShieldUI Grid can export data to Portable Document Format (PDF)

Is this another option?^_^

Taking a look at the Javascript code, ShieldUI uses server side (ASP/NET) stuff to export the grid data.

DecSoft (In thread: how to output data,or print report?)
