DecSoft (In thread: about Custom Cordova Plugin and core Cordova Plugin)

Hello reg4app,

Yes; App Builder includes "out of the box" the ability to use certain Apache Cordova's plugins in our applications: Barcode, Files, Location, Browser... we can use these and more Cordova's plugins "out of the box" with the controls and actions provided by App Builder.

Additionally, we can also use the Javascript API for non included Apache Cordova's plugins. And for this the "custom plugins" editbox appear, because we must specify the appropiate plugins IDs to be required in addition to use the plugins provided Javascript API in our apps.

Take a look at this help topic

On the other hand, App Builder have their own plugins system, which allow thirdparty authors to write Javascript plugins for App Builder, following certain implementation conventions. These thirdparty plugins can add one or more app actions, and use, if needed, certain Apache Cordova's plugins too.

Take a look at this help topic

In this last case we can activate and deactivate plugins from the program's options. And then, every application can choose one or more App Builder plugins to be used, from the available ones. Some App Builder's Javascript plugins are already included, as well certain "Template" plugin to be used by thirdparty authors.

Hope this can help you in some way, reg4app. If you have any further question, don't hesitate to post it here.

DecSoft (In thread: Prepare the application's BAT files for Apache Cordova)

Hello Stef,

Hey David,

I've done it but I get this message [...]

Greetings Stef

The error is more or less clear: Cordova is not well instaled or their binary is not in the system's path. You can follow this forum's thread in order to install Apache Cordova properly.

DecSoft (In thread: Prepare the application's BAT files for Apache Cordova)

Hello,

Hello.
Anyone is available to help me..

Thanks for your interest in my work. Do you get some error message? Can you provide some captured of the program when fail? Certainly as most information you can provide means a more easy way to help you!

DecSoft (In thread: something strange about sample External)

Ok. :)

DecSoft (In thread: something strange about sample External)

Hello reg4app,

Humm... probably you are using the "Run" (CTRL+F9) command instead the "Debug" (F9) one? Remember the Run command launch the latest app compilation, but the Debug one save the possible app changes before compile it and finally launch it.

On the other hand, if I do what you said and change the code, I get the expected results here. So, maybe you are talking about the "Hello world" that appear in the AlertBox? If so, note that such AlertBox do not use the variable you refer, but shown by certain app function.

DecSoft (In thread: Prepare the application's BAT files for Apache Cordova)

You're welcome Samuel! :)

DecSoft (In thread: Prepare the application's BAT files for Apache Cordova)

Hello Samuel,

Ok. After take a look at the source code, certainly I can't found a possible chance for the problem... except if the application is not saved, that is, if after check the BAT related checkboxes we don't save the application. Certainly the application must be saved, since the App Builder's compiler works with the application's XML project file.

So please, Samuel, try to reproduce the problem but assert you save the application before.

DecSoft (In thread: Prepare the application's BAT files for Apache Cordova)

Hello Samuel,

Thanks for posting the log. Certainly the below message disturb me:

Since just after other messages (for every BAT created) must appear... but are missing in your log.

I definitely need to take a look at this in a more deep way.

DecSoft (In thread: Prepare the application's BAT files for Apache Cordova)

Hello,

PS: what is missing on this forum's engine is a +1 (or like) button ;)

I am search for some "reputation" module for the used forum manager, but certainly only found a couple of them and very difficult to implement in a first impression... But there is no problem to post something like "+1" when you wanted. :)

Hello Samuel,

Here is a short video about our question:

DecSoft (In thread: Prepare the application's BAT files for Apache Cordova)

Hello Samuel,

I can't reproduce the problem here, or I don't know how to do it... follow your steps, Samuel, once I save the application, the Build generates the BAT files as expected. Maybe you are using the Debug button instead? Remember the Debug button do not creates the BAT files (since we no need that for debug) and only the Build button does.

DecSoft (In thread: Animate an object with "animate class" from "a" to "b" position)

Hello,

You're welcome Eduardo. And thanks to Samuel too. :)

DecSoft (In thread: Prepare the application's BAT files for Apache Cordova)

Hello,

According to the image you posted above, you already have the BAT files ready to use...

DecSoft (In thread: Prepare the application's BAT files for Apache Cordova)

Hello Stef,

So you get the "_Compiled" directory but not the BAT files?
