* Fix a bug in the app Files manager which causes that the first time we add a new script and use the "type" attribute for that script, this "type" is not saved and therefore is lost, and we need to edit the script in order to set the "type" attribute again. Now the behaviour is the expected: the "type" is saved when we add the new script.

* Update the Bootwatch app themes (cerulean, cosmo, cyborg, darkly, flatly, journal, litera, lumen, lux, brite, materia, minty, morph, pulse, quartz, sandstone, simplex, sketchy, slate, solar, spacelab, superhero, united, vapor, yeti and zephyr) which now are based in the latest version 5.3.8 of the Bootstrap CSS, which is the version we already use in the default app theme. Update the two versions of the themes: LTR and RTL.

Here is a new DecSoft App Builder with the below changes, fixes and enhancements:


2025.32 (09/07/2025)

* Get the "show()" and "hide()" methods of the app dialogs to work as expected. Probably because there are the methods "app.showDialog()" and "app.hideDialog()" and we profusely used them, we forgot to make certain changes in the "show()" and "hide()" methods of the app dialogs, which caused it not to work as expected. This release makes the appropriate changes in order to get such methods working as expected too.

* Improve the product help search form by assert that the content to be searched (file names, titles, and contents) are in lower case, as well as the search query: this offers better matches than before. Other improvements have been made, for example, showing now the number of matches in every search result, like the number of matches in file names, titles, and contents.

* Change (internally) the value property type of the Range and Input Number controls to be Number instead of String. Nothing serious four our apps, but, with this we avoid some "check type fail" notices in the browser developer console, since for these controls the value property must be certainly of a Number type and not a String type.

* In addition to the link to the right product help topic, now, when we hover the mouse above an app user function in the IDE editor, we can see a link that, if pressed, will show that app user function in the app functions manager. So now we can go to the app users functions manager from the IDE editor, directly to the app user function under the mouse, and, this also works from the IDE editor completions list hints.

Hello to all,

Here is a new DecSoft App Builder with the below changes, fixes and enhancements:


2025.28 (09/01/2025)

* Assert that, when the app debugger stops, the browser does not continue running the app in the background. Before this release, the browser continues running the app, and if there is some code which, for example, put something in the debugger console, that task continues running, which is for sure not the expected since the debugger has been stopped.

* Change the internal algorithm to determine the size of the debugger browser. We notice the previous algorithm does not work as expected if DecSoft App Builder is running on a Windows "scaled screen" greater than 100%. The changes that we made in this release are trying to work in a similar way no matter the scale that is used for the screen.

* Add the "Autoplay" property to the Carousel control. Before this property is available the Carousel always start cycling automatically, and, we can use the "pause" method at runtime to stop it, however, the "Autoplay" property, only available at designtime, we can determine if the Carousel cycling must start automatically or not. The property is set to True by default to keep compatibility with existing apps. The provided Carousel sample app has been also modified to remove the "Dark mode", since this has been deprecated from time ago. Thanks Enel for the suggestion!

* The IDE editor for the CSS code (for example, the app style custom CSS) will help you now with a completion list which include not only the general CSS related stuff, but also the specific app related CSS stuff. This basically mean that you can easily find every app view, app dialog, app frame and every controls inside, in order to apply your desired custom CSS style for these elements. 

* Add an "app-frame" class attribute for the app frames, just in the same way that we already have the "app-view" and the "app-dialog" classes for the app views and the app dialogs. These classes allow customizing the CSS style of all the app views and dialogs, and from now on also for all the app frames if we want. Also we rewrite enterely the "runtime selectors" help topic, in order to be more precise and correct some mistake around these.
