DecSoft (In thread: Creating a simple app that calculates Z-score?)

Hello,

No i'm not sure how to do that; I wonder if it can be done with lookup table?

Sorry, but I can't understand. The Math action allow us to perform mathematics operations using app's variables, for example. So, if you have in one variable an "score" value, and you want to perform some math operation with that variable, in principle you can use the Math action to do it. What I am missing? What a "lookup table" means for you?

DecSoft (In thread: Creating a simple app that calculates Z-score?)

Hello,

yes a z-score would be someone's score minus the mean, divided by standard deviation.

Are you try with the Math action?

Hello,

Thanks for your interest in App Builder and register in this forum. Sorry, but I am not sure if can understand very well: are you talking about perform mathematic operations or I am completely wrong?

DecSoft (In thread: Bug on Report Component Caused IDE Locked)

Hello Ade,

Hi David,

When I update my AB to latest version it solved the issue.

Thanks.

Glad to know! Please continue reporting if you find some problem! ;)

DecSoft (In thread: Bug on Report Component Caused IDE Locked)

Hello Ade,

Thanks for the report! However, I can't reproduce the problem here following your steps. This error occur all time in your case? Some error message appear? They happend with other Reports' samples or with a Report control alone?

Certainly all are questions, just because I can't reproduce the problem here. Please, try to reproduce the problem and tell me how I can do the same here. Maybe this depend on the Report's HTML code?

I don't think so, but, maybe you can shown here the HTML of your Report...

DecSoft (In thread: How to disallow border show when button was focus)

Hello tin,

Place this bit of CSS in your app's stylesheet or "Inline CSS" option:

DecSoft (In thread: How to scale the captured image with an WebCam control)

Hello Samuel,

Certainly using the video measures information/variables provided by App Builder (in the WebCam's control's Metadata event, but not necessary using that event, we can scale the WebCam captured image. I add a kind of "scale" app's function in the "WebCam" app sample, so maybe you want to take a look. ;)

DecSoft (In thread: How to call an app's function from a Report's record's HTML)

Hello Joshua,

Yes; we can use also a link:

DecSoft (In thread: How to call an app's function from a Report's record's HTML)

Hello Joshua,

No problem! Please let me if that sample can be useful for you or what. ;)

DecSoft (In thread: How to call an app's function from a Report's record's HTML)

Hello Joshua,

Are you try with the "Report9" sample? We can always split the Report's data and then paginate the Report's contents.

DecSoft (In thread: How to call an app's function from a Report's record's HTML)

Hello Joshua,

OK,I will study this

and by the way, will Report control get a 'page' Function!?

I am not sure this function is necessary,So far the report control is good enough for me,but maybe a 'page' option will give the user more ways to show the data.

What is a "page function"?

DecSoft (In thread: How to call an app's function from a Report's record's HTML)

Hello Joshua,

The next App Builder release includes a new "Report17" sample, which shown us how we can call to app's functions from Report's records' HTML code. I attach here this new "Report17" sample for your convenience:

DecSoft (In thread: How to call an app's function from a Report's record's HTML)

Hello Joshua,

Please, take a look at the "Report8" sample, which include some "buttons" ni the report's records HTML and shown us how we can react when such buttons are clicked by the user. In this case we use the "RowClick" event and look for an "ID" attribute of the clicked button.

Additionally, yes, we can call an application function from a Report, just take a look at the below code, which is a modification of the Report's HTML code of the "Report8" sample:

As you can see we call to a "MyAppFunction" app's function passing the record's title as an argument.

DecSoft (In thread: How do I app frame scrolling?)

Hello Kasito,

This is quite rare, that is, I can't remember some "break" change in this aspect introduced in the recent App Builder releases. Can you provide me with a minimal application sample in order to try it here Kasito?
