DecSoft (In thread: Information about the NeoPlugin np8062)

Hello to all,

This plugin for VisualNeo™ is a wrapper over the DLL for the Velleman™ DMX INTERFACE K8062 cards. The plugin allows you to use all the exported functions from this DLL and therefore communicate your publications with this kind of hardware. The plugin include two sample publications which use all the provided actions. Of course remember you need to have the appropriate model of the Velleman™ card attached to your computer in order to try this plugin and the provided sample.

Press here to get more information and download the NeoPlugin np8062!

DecSoft (In thread: Where are placed the images of the Carousel app sample)

Hello Joseph,

You can see it in the "UpdateImages" app's function. Here is the code of that function:

As you can see, the images are taken in a "random" way from the lorempixel.com service.

DecSoft (In thread: How to include JavaScript Framework within AppBuilder?)

Hello to all,

Hello David,

Really!!! YOU ARE INCREDIBLE!!!

This JS library gives to AppBuilder lots of new features!!!
THANK YOU so much for your knowledge

Eduardo

You're welcome Eduardo! Please, let me know if you have any further questions. :)

DecSoft (In thread: How to include JavaScript Framework within AppBuilder?)

Hello Eduardo,

Certainly its possible to use thirdparty Javascript in our DecSoft's App Builder applications. As you know, basically we must to include the appropriate Javascript file(s) using the Files Manager, and, in the proper order. Most of times we need to prepare an HTML Content control that contain the elements for our Javascript code, for example, a "canvas" HTML element like in the case of Paper.js.

After that we need to deal with the Javascript code in the proper way, for example, I am not sure about your above code, because they don't initialize any canvas element. Basically, after add the appropriate Javascript files, we must use the right Javascript code in the right place in our application: you know that we can use Javascript code in any place, just placing it between the "StartJS" and "EndJS" actions.

I prepare a "PaperJs" sample for you that shown how we can use the jQuery the Paper.js Javascript libraries in our applications. This sample is included now in the current DecSoft's App Builder release, but I also upload it here for your convenience: PaperJs.zip.

DecSoft (In thread: Use the Bootswatch themes for Bootstrap CSS 4)

Hello tin,

I have seen new free bootrap theme and bug fix.
https://bootswatch.com/
thanks.

In fact App Builder already use the bootswatch themes for Boostrap 3! Certainly is good to know that they are ready too for Boostrap 4: maybe someday App Builder can support Bootstrap 4, then we can continue using the bootswatch themes.

DecSoft (In thread: Information about the NeoPlugin npFile)

Hello Matthew,

Thanks for the extremely quick and helpful reply
Just learning this so making mistakes!!

No problem! Just one request, please: open new threads on the forum to made any questions you have, that is, instead to add more messages to this thread, except if the messages are for this thread of course. Separating the questions against threads we can maintain the forum in a better way for all of us. :-)

DecSoft (In thread: Information about the NeoPlugin npFile)

Hello Matthew,

Certainly "WordFile" is a variable which refers to the npFile plugin created file. We must use that variable with the other plugin's actions. Basically that variable allow us to create various npFile objects, since we can use as many variables as needed.

However, what the "FileLen" VisualNeo' actions expect for their first argument is a file path, so, we can't use the above refered variable. You can save the file path when create the npFile object, but also retrieve it by the npFile's npFilePath action.

Then you can use the path with the "FileLen" VisualNeo's action. On the other hand, if you want to know the file size created by the npFile plugin you can use the npFile's npFileBytes action. Please, let me know if you have any other questions!

DecSoft (In thread: Analytics - Easy integration of Google Analytics™ in our apps)

Hello to all,

This App Builder's Javascript plugin integrates the Google Analytics™ service with our apps. Before to use this plugin you need to create an account into the Google Analytics™ service and get your account's User Traking ID, which looks like "UA-213134124-5".

This plugin is included by default with the App Builder's installation. Take a look at the plugin's help file (from the program's options dialog, for example) in order to learn how to use it. In fact this as easy to use as useful for our apps.

Hope can be useful!

DecSoft (In thread: EndJs vs EndJS - enforce case)

Hello psyclps,

Please, upgrade your DecSoft's App Builder copy. The below is a quote from the product's history file:

2017.92 (10/19/2017)

* Allow the "EndJS" action to be writed in a non case sensitive way, like the other App Builder actions. Before this fix App Builder understand that, for example, "endjs" is not the action, but just another JS line (inside an "StartJS" action), which cause an unexpected result.

Thanks for the report psyclps!

DecSoft (In thread: EndJs vs EndJS - enforce case)

Hello psyclops,

I think you find a curious bug or something. Let me to take a look and I will inform here about what I discover about.
